COOPSTER 0 #1 August 2, 2005 what would you do, i just received a new rig vector v3 m series that i ordered 8 weeks ago and i love it have not jumped it yet though. my problem is this when ordering i had all the embroidery done in silver with blue and one of the ring covers was done in blue with silver on accident and it looks a little funny they said they would have to re do both ring covers. but im concerned that the rig is all together and packed and will the intergrity of the rig be affected, or just live with the mistake. alot of money for this cutom embroidery dont feel so right sending it back for something so small
ChrisL 2 #2 August 2, 2005 The integrity will not be affected. You can have it repaired without concern. The only issue to consider is "Do you want to wait that long"? __ My mighty steed
outlawphx 1 #3 August 2, 2005 Hmm... You're in Mass, so why don't you wait to send it back until the snow starts falling? Wouldn't want you to miss out on the season
GravityGirl 0 #4 August 2, 2005 Does it look bad? Can you post a pic? I bet once the initial shock wears off, you'll like it fine. Especially when you jump it and realize you're not spending much time looking at your mud-flap. If it still bugs you this winter, then send it back when you're not jumpin'. 'Cause right now it's jumping season, and you have a brand new rig!!!!! SKYDIVE! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! ZigZagMarquis 9 #5 August 2, 2005 That's a tough one... personally, container colors are about the only thing I'm picky about anymore, as in, if I ordered it that way, I want it that way, so I'd say if it bugs you, send it back and get it fixed... the suggestion that since you're in the NorthEast, waiting until winter might not ba a bad idea... I'd check though to see if Relative Workshop is going to do it for free or charge you... I'd be pretty hard over that it be done for free since it sounds like it was their mistake... but then on the other hand, if you wait some length of time before sending it back, it may not be quite fair to them to then expect it to still be done for free, just some food for thought. ... as for main and reserve canopies... my favorite colors are "IN STOCK!" Replaced the panel with the name on it, shortened some webbing etc. It was done by the manufacturer and I can't tell the difference, it looks perfect.
