When dating...who pays?

Well I have to say that if he wasn't sure where to take you then he's not a real gentlemen. :) Then again most first dates aren't usually at Ruth Chris steak houses either......:|
I disagree about affording it, not all people are the same, however plan accordingly and take the other enablers into account. To explain this for every situation.....well peeps would be typing for days....:o Good thing everyone has an OPINION....:o

Well, luckily I've never been stuck at Ruth Cris and unexpectedly handed the bill. :P

:Dit's not my perspective..... the one with the most cash should pay- besides I would rather make a seared trout that I caught myself or some venison tenderloins or some steamed veggies with wild mushrooms then give a nice massage in the hot tub after a day of snowboarding... No offense to restaurant people but that wine with dinner and a movie thing is an expensive fucking bore.:D

I'm curious--for both you and Misternatural--why would you pick snowboarding--and not skydiving--as being a key element of a perfect date?

I don't care what the activity was ... it is the cooking diner together and the massage in the hot tub that got my attention :)
Doing the same thing after a day of skydiving? Beyond perfect ... I think I'd fall in love :)

But then the fact that ski/snowboarding resorts are more likely than DZ's to have hot tubs would be a consideration, right?

HAHAHAHA
I got my own hot tub...it's wood fired and on my balcony- best investment I ever made. Plus I know when the water was last changed and who was in it!:D:D

And as for a date after the DZ- that would be great but so many more women hit the slopes....getting someone to go skydiving for the first time is a real scary deal for many of them.

If this goes one for a few more days, sounds like the whole DZ.com will be at JT this weekend :P:ph34r:

To me, expecting someone else to take care of you "just because" is a little undignified.

Or, to put it another way, if one person feels they are entitled to get dinner for free, the other person could, with just as much justification, feel they are entitled to a kiss and perhaps a little grope at the end of the night. I don't think people are "entitled" to such things (although it's certainly fine if both people want that.)

So skydiving is something you do because you love it whereas skiing/snowboarding is something you do just to get the ladies? :)
