LuckyMcSwervy 0 #3 August 5, 2009 I was so heartbroken when I couldn't find it when I got home. I had it out putting jumps into a spreadsheet during the flight... All of my 1sts are in there... Lots of nice notes from instructors... Good advice that I still need today. Damn! I'd kiss it when it arrives home safely but who the hell knows where it's been at this point!!! BillyVance 35 #4 August 5, 2009 You're one of the lucky ones... of course, that's part of your name. I'd love to get my 2nd logbook back. It was taken when my car got stolen with my gear inside. My car was found in the woods a week later, mostly empty. That logbook had some of my best memories logged in there from 1997 - Georgia and New Jersey state records, WFFC at Quincy with several specialty jumps, beach jump boogie, and countless jumps from Mullin's King Air during his $99 boogie-til-ya-pukes... It's most likely at the bottom of the nearest landfill to McMinnville, TN. davjohns 1 #5 August 5, 2009 My bags once got misdirected after a martial arts seminar. I had accidentally slipped $1,000 cash into a side pocket of my bag. I knew it was gone. A few days later, I got a call from the airline confirming that I was home. Someone drove up with my gun case containing an expensive sword and my bag. Everything was there. Glad your situation turned out as well.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
