Lostinspace 0 #1 July 26, 2005 I own a Sabre2-150 with 120 jumps on it. The canopy was purchased used with 40 jumps on it. I had an off DZ landing, where I landed next to a tree. My canopy caught the tree and incurred damaged. The canopy is at PD for repair. The work includes a reline. Reline: (Right side A/B lines are longer than the left side and the lines are showing stress) The right side was 1 1/2" longer than the left. How could the lines get out of trim so fast? Is it from the landing? (I landed, feet on the ground. The lines were slack)

nicknitro71 0 #3 July 26, 2005 Do yourself a favor: when you get the canopy back measure all the outside lines and write the lenght down. Do the same at 50 and 100 jumps and post the results here. Yes, welcome to the woonderful world of Spectra Memento Audere Semper

When lines are longer than they should be must it be relined. Can you not just cut off the extra lenght? "be honest with yourself. Why do I want to go smaller? Shortening the longer ones will make them both off spec.Remster
