Cydney 0 #1 July 21, 2005 How hard is it to pack a Sabre 2 170 into a Mirage G3 M4 size container?
hookncrater 0 #2 July 21, 2005 "Snug" according to the container sizing chart which is translated as, "If you are a decent packer you shouldn't have any trouble". ________________________________________________________________________________ when in doubt... hook it! BenHall 0 #3 July 22, 2005 Well if it helps, I have a Spectre 170 packed into an M2 (a G3). It's a little tough but not that bad at all.
matt91078 0 #4 July 22, 2005 my friend and i both packed sabre2 170s into our new G4 M4s with no real problem. it also will depend on how well you can pack. his canopy was newer, so it was more difficult for him to pack whereas mine had 300 more jumps on it, i had 100 packjobs more, so i could pack easier. once you have more pack jobs under your belt, it will fit easier edited for
chutingstar 1 #5 July 22, 2005 QuoteHow hard is it to pack a Sabre 2 170 into a Mirage G3 M4 size container? It is designed for it and packs up nicely. We have several of these G3 M4 Sabre2 170 setups for student/rental gear that we use everyday. MikeChutingStar.com

hookncrater 0 #8 July 23, 2005 You really need an M5 container for a PD176R. I have heard of people shoe-horning one into an M4, but considering the added bulk-management complexities given the cutter relocation, I bet it was an ugly-looking packjob. ________________________________________________________________________________ when in doubt... hook it! sundevil777 102 #9 July 23, 2005 You don't want your rigger to have to struggle. They should look forward to packing your rig because it is correctly sized (somewhat unusual lately). Also, the rigs that look good are that way because they are not overstuffed. It is very dissapointing to have a rig you've spent so much money on that looks too fat, with flaps that don't work quite right.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
