my google doesn't work

Recommended Posts

when i type something in to google everything looks normal, but when i click on the links, random websites come up. everything is fine if a type or copy a url directly into the address bar, and links within websites work as well. it just happens when i use search engines. i've scanned the computer for viruses and malware and found nothing. anyone know how to fix this? i can't even fucking google it.

It's another sign that you need a longer penis.

type the following into start | run: c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/

open the hosts file in notepad and paste the results.

Also go download malwarebytes the behavior you are talking about is a known malware

malwarebytes is free and available here:

You have some malware running.
Try to:

- Go http://qscan.bitdefender.com (press "Start" button at the top). It will scan your pc for running malware.

- Download and install BitDefender http://www.bitdefender.com - a trial version is free for 30 days. Run a full system scan after reboot.

- If you cannot open any of those sites, it's probably time to get a rescue disk. I used http://download.bitdefender.com/rescue_cd/ and in past I used http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Kaspersky-Rescue-Disk-Download-100454.html - download them on a different machine, burn a CD, and reboot your machine from this CD; scan the drive.

to go start | run and type : msconfig then hit enter

go to the startup tab. uncheck EVERYTHING

then restart in safe mode (hit f5 repeatedly while the computer is first booting till you see a prompt) then let it load up in safe mode (with networking).

You should then probably be able to get to the site. If you still cant, let me know and i will download the file and host it for you. These malware programs can be a real pain to get rid of. I would suggest switching to either firefox or IE8 as older browsers are an easy way to get reinfected
