Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

Not sure where you'll be camping, but if it's in Florida, get some ant stuff on the ground under and around your tent. Ask someone at the DZ if they know what to use - heck, some dz's keep the stuff handy just in case..

Red ants are *nasty* and they WILL eat all the food you have in the tent. Note that *you* will also count as food. They will eat through your tent and your sleeping bag to get to you, but the powdered ant-killer shit is very good, so you should be ok :)

So on this coming wednesday i will be moving onto my dz for a week. Being that im poor i will be staying in my tent. I cant wait!!!! B|

So i was wondering if anyone else has done this and if so any suggestions?

Make absloutley sure your tent and gear is on "high ground" ... never been to Raeford but if you were going ot be in Deland in August (rainy season) you might want to try and put the tent on some kind of "air matress" to keep it off the ground. NOTHING spoils camping in a tent like a rain storm and have EVERYTHING get wet :(

Keep your spare cloths in a tightly closed plastic bag (garbage will do) to keep em dry just incase ...

Deland has shower's and washing machines .... check .. they say "PK Airpark has bathroom facilities with hot showers" nothing about cloths washers but they may be available nearby.

Bring a good lantern (w/ extra batteries) and a book light to read ... a good air matress to keep you up off the ground .. just incase it rains too ;)

hope this helps ....
