futuredivot 0 #1 August 27, 2009 The Impala All-Terrain. You can get a 4 door Chevy through Loop Road in the Everglades. The trick is to hit the mud holes at a high rate of speed and ignore the funny noises. When I asked the Park Ranger about the road she said "You might need a 4 wheel drive" I answered "Sweetheart, I have a rental-we'll be fine". BillyVance 35 #2 August 27, 2009 Hah... During my honeymoon on Maui, I took the rental car off the end of the paved road that goes past Hana, the world-famous Road To Hana with all the switchbacks and 1 lane bridges that takes over 2 hours to drive 30 miles. Wanted to see how far we could get over the rough dirt and gravel road, plus we were trying to find Charles Lindberg's grave. It had a minor case of the shakes when we dropped it off at the end of our stay.
