WatchYourStep 0 #1 August 28, 2009 So my roommate's dog got in my bed and pissed on it, I'm talking full sized pee. Anyone have any experience with getting pet urine out of a bed or am I shit out of luck? Thanks "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. LuckyMcSwervy 0 #2 August 28, 2009 My cat loves to piss anywhere she can to make a statement. I buy "Stink Free" by the gallon at Petsmart. I think it works. I use it on the pissy area after I use the Little Green Machine thingy. Good luck!!Always be kinder than you feel.

This stuff works good if the puddle didn't go deep. http://www.natures-miracle.com/ Edited to add: You can get it at most grocery stores.Be yourself! Tuna-Salad 0 #6 August 28, 2009 The dog is just marking you as property belonging to it. Find where it sleeps and take a full sized piss and see if you 2 bond..Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night.
MakeItHappen 15 #7 August 28, 2009 QuoteSo my roommate's dog got in my bed and pissed on it, I'm talking full sized pee. Anyone have any experience with getting pet urine out of a bed or am I shit out of luck? Thanks You can find a lot of answers thru google. This one is probably the easiest http://www.dogchatforum.com/dog-urine-removal-mattress.htm I generally just use vinegar and baking soda with some water to clean dog urine and those 'grass-throw-ups'. That is usually just stomach bile plus grass. Car-sickness pukes with food are baking soda and vinegar too, plus a blanket over the car interior makes things even easier. Whatever you do, do not use ammonia based products. Be careful about using the peroxide because it beaches things. Usually dogs have pee problems as a puppy or moving to a new house. If the dog is older and has been there for awhile make sure there are no medical problems. Very old dogs may have bladder problems when sleeping. Then train the dog to stay out of your room. You can even train them to be allowed only when invited. My dogs are trained to stay out of the kitchen wherever I am cooking, but they can go in there any other time. They also have a strictly off-limits room. If none of that works get a water bed. Wash the linens and be done. .. squirrelgirl 0 #8 August 28, 2009 Depending on how deeply it soaked in, you may be. Definitely trying soaking the spot with Nature's Miracle. Otherwise, your roommate might owe you big time. I know how frustrating and gross this is.

hungarianchick 0 #10 August 28, 2009 There is a stuff called Anti Icky Poo, I chit you not... Supposedly it works and its the best, however first you need to deep clean your mattress with a powerful upholstery machine to suck out the urine and remove as much of it as you can. You can rent those at most stores. And last but not least your roomate needs to house train his dog. "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food." Nightingale 0 #13 August 28, 2009 I'd buy a gallon of Nature's Miracle and let it soak into the mattress. The urine smell should be gone in a week.
tigra 0 #14 August 28, 2009 I think your roommate owes you a new mattress, to be honest.
WatchYourStep 0 #15 August 29, 2009 Thanks for the website Jan. I tried it and I'll see after it dries. If the smell is gone great, if not looks like I'll get another new mattress :( "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience.
