iambeav2 0 #1 September 6, 2009 Before the "Weekend numbers" thread starts, I already owe beer, as well as my pilot so he claims. Anyway, long story short, I just took a blind lady for her first tandem in celebration of her 57th birthday which was today. She claims to have had a blast...I on the other hand had probably the most memorable jump I'll ever have. She was one of my BEST students through exit, freefall, and landing. It was awesome under canopy b/c she was asking me to describe things like I saw them, and at that point I realized with skydiving...how much I overlook what I have the opportunity to take in. After everything was done and over with, I realized...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you! BLUE SKIES....it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!
