I'll admit, it looked like it had potential from the trailer, and I consider myself to have a decent taste in movies. This one looked like a promising action movie, not groundbreaking, but at least enjoyable.

Boy was I wrong. I don't remember who the director is, but he really needs to retire immediately.

First off, with my biggest annoyance. The movie literally was giving me a slight headache. The action scenes are so chaotic, and fast paced, that you very rarely can keep track on where the character is going. On top of that, the screen was constantly becoming distorted, skipping, and other editing nuances that I was certain I will soon have a seizure. To put it in perspective, Cloverfield seems relatively calm regarding it's camera effects compared to this movie.

Second motion is that it was incredibly disturbing. I'm sure the director could have gotten the same point across without having to constantly resort to showing a sweating, obese, fat guy that is constantly touching himself, and either having an orgasm or going into a heart attack. Then there's the rave. I know there's certain people who do it and all, but what kind of rave has girls hanging themselves from hooks, and tons of other crazy masochistic shit.

Then towards the end, with the bad guy singing the jazzy tune. No idea what the director was aiming for, but I'm pretty sure it was an attempt at ingenuity that failed at epic proportions.

So, with all that said, I give the movie a 4/10. I went in, already expecting a trite, subpar action flick, and left disappointed. I do not recommend this movie.
