LuckyMcSwervy 0 #1 September 7, 2009 STILL not telling either way : 4 : Humps: See above. Jumps: I got 4 in Saturday. Most of yesterday and today we were weathered out. Beer: 1st dock from someone who was headdown (yeah, we're stretching the beer rules ), and a couple of other things I can't remember. It was a great weekend despite the weather. The DZ had a 80s themed party Saturday night and a karaoke party Sunday night. Give some drunk people a microphone and music... awesomeness ensues. Always be kinder than you feel. skymama 37 #5 September 8, 2009 Two awesome jumps with Normiss in da Hills where I also enjoyed hangin' with my old friends Rick and Mike. I would have jumped more, but Mark kept doing work jumps and I had to wait for him. JohnMitchell 16 #6 September 8, 2009 Made 4 tandems and an RW jump at Ritzville at the End of Summer Boogie. Great time, lots of beer, strong winds kept us from making more jumps. Thanks, all you West Plains peeps, for all the fun.

We also watched a 30 minute fireworks show Saturday night at the Start Skydiving Works Sucks Boogie that put most the city fireworks shows to shame that I've seen. Baksteen 84 #16 September 8, 2009 : : 0 I was completely wrecked on Saturday... didn't feel like I'd be able to responsibly fall from an aircraft. The high winds and generally sucky weather didn't improve matters. Sunday the weather and I were a lot better but I had to attend someones birthday. Oh well.. my time will come. I just hop I can get those last nineteen jumps in this year...that would bring my total count on 300."That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
lauraliscious 0 #17 September 8, 2009 How did I miss both you AND the jello shots at the boogie??? I thought I would recognize you but I guess I was wrong. :12:Made some AWESOME jumps at Start Skydiving! 1 balloon jump, 1 night jump, and 10 belly jumps. 12 - 36 ways all weekend. Icon134 0 #18 September 8, 2009 0:13 (I think, I'll have to count videos):2 at least... I shot videos and stills for the Guy Wright bigways at Start Skydiving's Work Stinks Boogie... On our second formation load Norman Kent Joined the group on the lead plane I was on the trail plane... and shot video and stills as well... They built a 34 way and I think they managed to get two points... (although it's not quite built on one still frame and then there is a broken grip on the next frame... so the first point may not have been successful) all in all it was a good weekend of formation videos... my second beerable offense was crossing the beer line (or technically not quite making the beer line and landing on the blacktop between the hangers...) which scared me a quite a bit... (although I landed softly and safely... it's not a safe place to be... for reasons other then my safety...) ScottLivin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... skybytch 273 #22 September 8, 2009 15k:1:0 Monday was 15k all day. Did a really fun 2 way tracking dive with my s/o. A couple docks, traded off who led a couple times, then at 7 grand I took him out, he locked on to me and we tumbled, laughing our asses off, until breakoff. jacketsdb23 49 #23 September 8, 2009 ;7;0 Had two sweet freefly jumps with an absurd head down exit, 1 RW jump, 1 Tandem Video, 2 main side AFF's, and 1 reserve side AFF. It was great to take the guys on their AFF jumps. One guy Dennis didn't pass his level 2 but we brought him right back up and he passed the second time. Its great to see the students progression. While the weather was causing difficulty we played twister and handed out jello shots....only about 300 so everyone was pretty happy go lucky sunday nite.thanks to all that came to play with us at the 'Ritz" - got to meet some really nice people and am always glad to see our firends who come back.DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!
