Where did Frodo go at the very end of the Return of the King?

He went off with Gandor on a boat , but why?

He went with "Gandor" [sic] and took the boat to the Undying Lands, sort of an Elvish Heaven.

Even though he was not an Elf, he was allowed to go since he was a Ring Bearer.

They had those giant, intelligent eagles. couldn't one of them have just FLOWN the ring to the lava pits??

phildo, those books are some of the most inspiring, most fantasyful writings out there. tolkien created a completely new WORLD for you, in every detail, with languages.. and you say it was "tiring"!?

reading the book was long and tiring to me..

phildo, those books are some of the most inspiring, most fantasyful writings out there. tolkien created a completely new WORLD for you, in every detail, with languages.. and you say it was "tiring"!?

you try learning all those languages, you tell me its not tiring!!! flipping to the back of the book was just annoying, not saying i didnt like it.

Based on the fact that this was posted RIGHT after....I'd wager a guess, that you ALSO watched all three movies, in succession on cable,, on sunday...

themselves,,,, when they entered the area of the Hot Flowing river of Lava???

oh Yeah.... Cause it's "make-believe"

still i really liked many many of the "fringe characters"... but i DO NOt like Orcs....
