NWFlyer 2 #3 September 16, 2009 "Medium build" is pretty vague. Did you ask the seller to provide actual measurements (chest, waist, hips, inseam) or did you just hope that your definition of medium was the same as his? Sucks that it doesn't fit, but without detail you're taking your chances whether you buy on eBay or on the classifieds here."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. likestojump 3 #4 September 16, 2009 eBay has nothing to do with it, and is not "stupid". however, if in fact the seller has described the item wrong, you most certainly can file a dispute and get your $$$ back. or just email the seller, majority are very reasonable and will work with you. also it may be a simple fact of differing opinions about the quite subjective term "medium built"
Ketia0 0 #5 September 16, 2009 It ahd his picture in there, next to a door.. darn me for assuming he was about my build. he put in the description "A female jumper has worn suit and it fit well" so im assuming its kind of baggy in the front.. NOPE! Here is the picture.. Could also be why the jumpsuit was only 69.00"In this game you can't predict the future. You just have to play the odds. NWFlyer 2 #6 September 16, 2009 Quote Could also be why the jumpsuit was only 69.00 That's a good price for a jumpsuit that appears to be in very good condition. Sorry if I'm not being sympathetic, but I don't see how the seller misrepresented anything. And if it was only $69 you should have no trouble re-selling it and trying again. Quote "A female jumper has worn suit and it fit well" so im assuming its kind of baggy in the front. Useless information. Women (like men) come in all shapes and sizes. ryoder 1,590 #11 September 16, 2009 Quote It has spandex in the sides for a reason. It's SUPPOSED to be tight! It isn't a freefly suit. If you can zip it up it fits. And you've got the booties on. Looks like a good fit to me. This is a fast RW suit. And they were invented to make the most of your package. This may not be the suit you wanted. But it fits you like it's supposed to. A used RW suit is worthless if it fits so tight it prevents you from doing a hard arch to increase fall rate. Been there; Done that. I had to order a new custom suit that allowed me to arch properly. The money spent on the used suit was a waste."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Ketia0 0 #12 September 16, 2009 yea thats not me in the picture. I was laying down on the ground, and was able to arch, so im going to jump it atleast once to see how it does... though, everyone who see me will know if im cold or excited. wmw999 2,589 #13 September 16, 2009 Remember, if this: X--------------------------------------------------------------------X is 8 inches, then 5'8" is the new "medium"(disclaimer: if you have your fontsize or resolution set so it's all big, that really might be 8" long). shah269 0 #15 September 16, 2009 I'm sure you could sell it here. I mean hell I may even buy it from you if it fit me for that price. If nothing to just walk around the house all winter while wearing a back pack and waving to the neighbors! But remember when wearing super tight pants, you want to lead with your wang when you walk. And keep asking "So you like my sausage?" Extra points will be given if you show off some chest hair and wear a few gold necklaces. JohnMitchell 16 #16 September 16, 2009 Any jumpsuit bought or sold should come with the provision that it fit. If you paid return shipping, I would return your money. Fitting RW suits properly is not easy. Many of the measurements have to be fairly precise. That's why Vskydiver measures all of her customers herself. MikeJD 0 #17 September 16, 2009 Did you also try it with a rig? Makes a difference. Bit late in the day to offer you advice, but I'd never buy a suit that I hadn't seen 'in the flesh' and tried on. I'd say save up and get one made to measure. There are so many key dimensions to a jumpsuit - especially an FS suit, with booties - that it's unlikely they'll all be within tolerance otherwise. Ketia0 0 #18 September 16, 2009 The description was vague. just said hieght and his wieght. Like i said, im goign to wear it to the DZ next time i jump ( Oct. 3rd) Who knows.. maybe ill like it. One thing is for sure.. im ganna have to figure out about the.. uh.. crotch section! i think wearing tight shorts underneath will help. "In this game you can't predict the future. thedude325 0 #21 September 16, 2009 I just got my brand new jumpsuit in a few days ago. My crotch section seems a bit tight too. I've got to figure something out about that before this weekend. lol. I seem to be able to arch pretty good with it and my rig on though. I may have it sent in to get fixed. Tony suits will resize it for free within 90 days, regardless of who measured you!!!
