Zep 0 #1 October 1, 2009 I was looking at some recipes for oatmeal cookies and they all use the c letter. what the hell is "1c of butter" yes yes yes, I know a "c" is a cup, but it just annoys me that they don't use weights. After all some cups are bigger or smaller than others, do you pack the butter in the cup tightly or or just cut it into little chunks and leave air spaces, I find those little c's just so ambiguous. There's nothing ambiguous about it at all and in fact, you don't have to put butter into a measuring cup at all. 99.999% of all butter sticks have marks right on them. One cup of butter is two sticks.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

My baba and my mom used to fill a 2 cup measuring cup with water to the 1 cup level and then add butter until the water reached the 2 cup mark. Seemed to work for them!'Shell

kbordson 8 #12 October 2, 2009 Quote So is it always this easy to get on your tits? and what DZ do I need to go to , to find out? Ummm. Those weren't really mine. Dana Delaney gets that credit. I just thought that clip went with the post of "gets on my tits" and measuring butter.
