Krip 2 #1 September 27, 2009 Hi Anyone know what happens to the old home monitoring ankle bracelet's after they've done there time? Are they recyled for the next perp? I'd like to get a inoperable one (without earning it) I've tried to contact Martha to see if I could get hers Also checked Ebay and amazon Any info on a source for a dead ankle/knock off bracelet would be appreciatedOne Jump Wonder
MikeJD 0 #2 September 28, 2009 Dunno, but sounds intriguing. I'd expect them to be reused as a matter of course, but presumably they have a finite lifespan. Is this for someone to actually wear? If so, be careful - I don't know whether they're 'self locking', but presumably by definition once they're on they're almost impossible to get off again without help from the proper authorities! Krip 2 #3 September 28, 2009 Hi Mike We're noticing some people flaunting their monitoring bracelts like a fashion statement.I wouldn't want to miss out on the latest fad so I'm thinking I may need one to be. Worst case I'll make my own monitoring bracelet out of a block of wood and paint it black. If make my own I can afford to wear one on each ankle One Jump Wonder

skydiver30960 0 #6 October 7, 2009 My guess was they'd keep a pretty tight grip on this kind of gear to keep MacGuyver types from figuring out ways to get them off. Elvisio "officer, that is NOT mine" Rodriguez
