Letter of Intent...

So I need to write a letter of intent, never had to but "part of the process" for some part time work Im after.

I read these letters as part of my job.
Start the letter with something like “Please accept this letter of interest for the position ……., which was recently advertised in ………. Then, get a copy of the job description and write your qualifications and experience for each of the duties expected in the new job. Keep it simple and brief. Finish off with something like “Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to meeting you.”

Some stuff is just a new experience to some people, 20 years of job gettin' with a beer in my hand just dont work no more (roofing ya know)
