I downloaded demos of canopy glide and the landing software to just play with it and both versions crashed on my laptop. One made my computer run so slow it became unresponsive for about 5 minutes. I am running Vista Ultimate Super Duper.

My impression is that there is still work to do with the product. [:/]

Just like I learned how to fly a plane using Microsoft Flight Simulator, I also completed AFF by skydiving on my Atari.

If the computer meets minimum specs for the game, then there is something funky going on. Could you send me more information?

It seems that you have a good laptop, but the video card does not support all the features of the program. But it seems that you get it to work, which is good. Full version of the program has an option which allows you to have good landing all the times. This option is useful for practicing the pattern only :)
