I am a little miffed because my girlfriend came down with the flu yesterday and she is at work today - at the dentist's office. It is alright because she is wearing her surgical mask all the time. I agree that working at any heath care provider with an infectous disease is a bad idea. A mask will lower the risk if transmission, but if she has to touch patients, then there is still a significant risk.
