Nutz 0 #26 October 21, 2009 Quote I used to see assholes of all kinds on the roads when I was driving to work. You never know what the fuck is going on or why they're doing that. I just assume they're being a fucking asshole, and not being a passive guy, used to get back at them whenever I could. You know, just get back in front of them (making sure to let asshole know I'm getting them back) whenever possible and stay in front, using traffic around me to block them and hang them out to dry. Yeah, I'm an asshole that way. Glad I don't do it anymore. Never caused a wreck or gone out of control. I've seen worse and I wasn't involved. Decided not to tempt fate anymore. Nowadays, if somebody pisses me off, I'm more apt to just flip them the finger or turn on the high beam while behind them. I just don't chase them anymore. I love it when assholes like you try that shit with me. I think people should be required to know how to drive before they are let loose on the roads with me. I find it annoying that I am forced to share the road with complete morons. Divot is correct - if you are on the front end of a long trip then passing some moron can make a huge difference. "Don't! Nutz 0 #27 October 21, 2009 Quote You mean the people that are driving the posted speed limit, right? This is exactly the type of asshole that REALLY annoys me. The sign says "Slower Traffic Keep Right." It does not say if you are doing the speed limit you don't have to move to the right. If the flow of traffic is faster than the speed limit then you are going slower and need to get the fuck out of the way, pardon my french. If you are driving to the left because "I'm doing the speed limit and I'm not speeding up at all to get around this person." then you deserve me to pull over right in front of you. I don't mind getting close, close does not reqire an accident report. Edit: whew, this DOES annoy me doesn't it. "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
Glitch 0 #28 October 21, 2009 Quote I know the owner of said business, & his general manager is a friend of mine also. I'm thinking about making things a little uncomfortable for Speedy. Suggestions? Generally speaking... most folks only carry 1 spare tire around with them, and valve stems are cheap! Randomly f'n thingies up since before I was born... davjohns 1 #30 October 21, 2009 I use those people to estimate how superior my driving techniques are. You did the same thing. You took the same exit just behind him without unusual wear and tear on your vehicle. I find that I often see the person again at a redlight. Because their style of driving is also rude and dangerous, I would like a system to vote them off the road. Maybe a paintball marking system. When the police see you with excessive red paintball strikes on your vehicle, they pull your license. Other drivers have makred you as unworthy. Just an idea. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course. MikeJD 0 #33 October 21, 2009 I see a lot of aggressive and just plain competitive driving. I don't retaliate because chances are whoever cut you up will also react pretty badly to a direct challenge. He's probably looking for a reaction in his mirror. Just give him a sad shake of the head. Seems to me that people who are forever trying to improve their position in traffic by two or three car lengths are just desperate to score a minor victory and assert some control in their frustrated lives. They are to be pitied.

If somebody wanted to pass me but wasn't an asshole about it, sure, let me just pull over to the slow lane. But if asshole is tailgating and swerving and I'm in a long line of vehicles waiting for the slowpoke up front to clear the 18 wheeler and move the fuck over, then wait your turn goddamn it. I have seen some of them swerve onto the right shoulder and scoot past the 18 wheeler like it was their god-given right, and no, I did not see any hazard lights on. downwardspiral 0 #36 October 21, 2009 Quote Quote However I do find it extremely annoying for people who drive slow in the fast lane, causing a backup of fast drivers who absolutely have to find away around the aformentioned slow driver. You mean the people that are driving the posted speed limit, right? Oh come on Mike. We've been through this before. You keep your slow ass out of the fast lane aight? Unless I'm on my bike. Then you can clog up traffic all ya want. www.FourWheelerHB.com
