(2) The insurance company has written-off my bike (would have cost £8000 to replace the 50 components that were identified as broken ... just for parts )

Now I'm waiting for their offer....

how do you crash a harley, i know you werent going around turns fast, or doing a wheelie, or doing anything wreckless, b/c its impossible to on a harleypotamus.

Buy the bike back from the insurance company. My dad just did this, the bike was totaled and he got it for $500. $500 in parts later, it is going again. Most of the damage was minor cosmetic stuff. The exhaust for example, we just wrapped in the ceramic tape. Be sure to look at the list of damaged parts, and determine what you have/want to replace and add it up.
