millertimeunc 0 #51 November 3, 2009 The T-6 did have zero/zero seats, but i'm not sure about the airplane this guy ejected out of.The best things in life are dangerous.
warpedskydiver 0 #52 November 3, 2009 BTW my BIL said you really needed that pod on the Raven or Aardvark. As he put it, you could be tooling along just having a nice flight, 30k AGL and then you are on the burners giving every bit it has with the throttle pushed hard. The next thing you know you are dodging trees and power lines. That plane caused him a sore back more than once. The terrain following radar mode was quite aggressive. ryoder 1,590 #53 November 3, 2009 Here is an interesting site. It records ejection incidents: http://www.ejection-history.org.uk/index.htm"There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. warpedskydiver 0 #54 November 3, 2009 That makes us all realize how safe a plane the OV-10 Bronco was and also how dangerous it was to fly one given its mission role. I always wanted one.
