pretty in pink JFTC article in Nov Parachutist

Recommended Posts

I was skimming the article about jumping for the cause and I found it an odd choice of photos for the article.
page 38 has a pic of 3 women standing behind a flag and the women on the left side of the photo was smoking.
Is it just me or does a pictuer of a women smoking seem out of place for this type of event?

Not at all, they are fund raising for and bringing awareness to BREAST Cancer. Not Lung Cancer DUH :):D:D

Sounds like an unusual choice of photo, and maybe if someone had thought about it then they'd have chosen a different one.

But I don't see anything 'wrong' with it. It'd be silly to pretend that people who raise money/ awareness for cancer charities don't smoke. Heck, plenty of doctors smoke! :)

That brings me when i worked for a hospital before the no smoking on hospital property's thing took place. there was a smokers hut. Simply a glass box that looked like a bus stop but with 4 glass walls and a door. the fan that was to take the smoke out of the hut had stopped working and within days the glass walls where brown and you could see through them but it looked like a really bad window tiniting and yet each day there where "health care professionals" in there smoking and smelling worse then when they wentt into the smoke sauna! NASTY!!!!!!
