Yeah, even Alabama football coach Nick Saban appeared as himself, when he was the LSU coach and recruiting Oher. But then, this is a football/life story. He's looking for something both he and the wife can squirm through together. Oh, it's got plenty of chick-friendly elements as well. I LOVED the book and am looking forward to the movie. However, it doesn't meet divot's "available on video" criteria."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. PLFXpert 0 #21 November 20, 2009 Quote It'd be rental-I had to google netflix to see how it works. So you need a good movie that has been out for a long time and is likely to actually be in stock/available. Have you seen Forest Gump? or As Good as it Gets? They are both on my all-time favorite list. I will start with those (can't believe anyone hasn't seen either of them, but taking a chance you might be the first I have actually come across. ) If you both have seen those, I can suggest others in the mainstream--but awesome--genre. If you are looking for something a little less mainstream--but still a widely-praised flick--definitely get Little Miss Sunshine (also one of my all-time favorites). I am assuming you are inquiring about what you might find in a rental store vs. a rental box (i.e. whatever you call those Blockbuster machine thingies in your local grocery store); no telling what might be in one of those. If surprisingly you love indie flicks or some other genre, let me know. I love movies. I do not watch much television anymore, either.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. AggieDave 6 #22 November 20, 2009 If you haven't seen "Up" then you're missing out. Yeah its animated, but like most every other Pixar film, its a good one. "Burn After Reading" is hilarious. "Big Fish" if you haven't seen it, needs to be watched.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

We watched Up last Tuesday (Netflix is AWESOME at DVDs arriving in my mailbox the day they are released). The only funny parts were Doug-related (cone of shame! ). The beginning was SO slow. Finding Nemo, Shark's Tale, Shrek--these are awesome animated films. Up made me feel so bad for that make-a-wish kid that got to see it before it had been given the final touches/was complete.
