Reserve pack volume

What is the difference in pack volume between the Tempo 120 and a PD 113R?

Does the PD reserve land better? I might prefer a better landing on a smaller reserve if the Tempo isn't as nice on landings.

How would the two canopies compare?

BillVon made it and I don't have the specific number but I'm sure it is true. The method tha PD uses to measure canopy size is different that the PIA published method. The PD method results in smaller numbers than the PIA method. So you CANNOT compare manufacutures published area numbers directly. They do NOT use the same method of measurement. That's one reason PD reserves all seem to pack big for their size. It's because, compared to other brands, they ARE bigger than their advertised size.

I'm finding fewer and fewer reasons to get a Tempo 120 or a Raven for this size.

Here is the chart. But remember, a canopy that is 250 cu. in. today might be 275 tomorrow.
