Used them in college to sneak alcohol into football games. Have flasked (where little or no alcohol was served) a couple of weddings in my youth. Haven't used one in quite a few years.

I've got several, given as gifts. Used them occasionally. It helps to have the tiny little funnel to fill them. I hate to spill good scotch.

I've gotten some pat downs at some venues where I don't know if I could have gotten a flask in or not. At one Pearl Jam concert, they were threatening to tear up your tickets if they found any hidden contraband. That's pretty hard core.

Had myself a similar day snowboarding with a Camelback of Goldshlager and apple cider.

Some of my best memories were going skiing with my brother, sharing a flask on the ride up the lift when we got cold (yeah, yeah, I know it actually lowers your core temp, but hey! ).
