Trading Sears gift cards back into cash?

Recommended Posts

We bought a ton of sears gift cards with plans to buy our refrigerator there. But, of course, we found it much cheaper on the black friday crap. So now I have a lot of $$ in sears gift cards. Any know how about how to get it back into cash?

I'm in the market for a cx100 and Sears doesnt seem to carry one at a normal rate.

You would have to sell them to others; however, since there is a large market for fake gift cards...good luck.

Give them as gifts this Christmas, instead of gifts? Use them to buy your Christmas? Careful holding on to them for a long time, many of those things have service charges if they hold value for very long.

Seems a lot easier to do that. Can't you use them at KMart too?

Sears does price matching, so if you find something else cheaper, just ask Sears to match the price. I'm fairly sure that they'll only match against brick and mortar stores, they'll even pull Lowe's, Home Depot, Target on the internet to confirm pricing if you ask.
Experience is what you get when you thought you were going to get something else.
