sundevil777 102 #2 June 12, 2005 From L&B's FAQ page: Basically TAS means your speed relative to the ground and SAS means your speed relative to the air molecules in a fixed altitude of 4,000 ft. and at a fixed temperature. TAS will change if you jump (with the same body position) at two Drop Zones which have different elevations.
