airtwardo 7 #2 December 12, 2009 Yeah...fun kid shows.I use to wonder how come Johnny Quest's old-man and his 'partner' never rat-holed the kids in a vegas hotel room and hit the strip for little monkey sex research regarding some cheap Hooker catch 'n release... I fuckin' freaked following a little think tank time after a grade school 'gym-class-rain-out' turned heath-ed seminar with a 1960's broke back mountain theme....kinda connected the dots. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

Boat was cool...Always wondered if Clutch Cargo wasn't maybe hiding a NAMBLA tat under the NASA type jacket he'd butch around the solar system in. . .with his 'pals' Spinner & Paddlefoot. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

nerdgirl 0 #12 December 12, 2009 Schoolhouse Rocks! The Americana themed ones are still my faves: “Rockin’ and Rollin’, splishin & a splashin’” … No More Kings “The Shot Heard ‘Round The World was the start of the Revolution” “We do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America” To this day, I can sing The Preamble, but I can’t recite it in a normal voice. “Lovely Lady of Liberty with her book of recipes and the finest one that she’s got is the Great American Melting Pot” Gotta give a nod to two other faves: Conjunction Junction and Interplanet Janet. /Marg Act as if everything you do matters, while laughing at yourself for thinking anything you do matters. DavidB 0 #25 December 13, 2009 If you grew up in & around NYC, you should remember Sonny Fox & WONDERAMA on Sunday mornings (WNEW channel 5). Back in the "early days" Sunday mornings were dead air or religious programming, then along came Sonny Fox & kids programming from 7AM until noon!! It didn't take long before they were cut back to a 2 hour show...When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
