virgin-burner 1 #28 December 11, 2009 Quote I love cats, but I couldn't eat a whole one. my friendly neighbourhood farmer regularly had gotten a new dog; the old one got eaten.. once he gave me a lecture on how to differentiate cat from rabbit since they almost taste and look the same.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. Nataly 38 #34 December 12, 2009 QuoteI just got fussed out by a lady because she claims my dogs terrorize her cat to the point he doesn't eat well. The dogs do go nuts in their fenced in yard when her cat comes down my driveway. Our property lines don't even touch so fluffy is way out of her yard when this happens. I just told her that the next time she saw the damn thing heading to my yard, listen carefully for the two clicks right before the boom. I find it ironic that a pet owner could be incapable of understanding an animal's nature.. Honestly.. She lets her cat run wild & it freaks out a *contained* dog and blames you for it.. Well shit.. Dogs will bark at cats. If her cat is so traumatised she needs to keep her fluffy little pet indoors so it doesn't have to face "real life".. Or maybe you could explain to her that fluffy probably has indigestion from all the molly-coddling she gives it!!"There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

ryoder 1,590 #40 December 14, 2009 Quote I had a 15' cable for my dog and the neighbors started complaining that he was barking alot while I was at work. One saturday I noticed this cat sitting right outside his reach calmly grooming itself while he went nutz. since it was an old cable and time to replace it I got him a 20' then hooked him up and within 15 minutes here come the cat... the cat walked up to his spot and sat down, Turbo took off at a dead run and hit the expected spot and kinda hunched up expecting the cable to snap him back... the cat thought that was what was going to happen too, he plowed into the cat at full force with his chest then flipped once, the cat went flying into the bushes yowling for all it was worth and It never came back. still makes me laugh when I think about it Roy I really hate it when people let their cats run loose: http://www.9news.com/rss/article.aspx?storyid=128823"There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. Misternatural 0 #42 December 14, 2009 Electricity has many uses When we were kids my Dad hooked up a fence charger to a wire mesh fence around this juniper in the yard that was getting constantly pissed on by all sorts of animals....which was killing it. "Whatcha doin dad?" we asked he said in a kid friendly manner...."next one who pees here is gonna have a roasted peanut" Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires.
