Jbag 0 #1 December 15, 2009 so my brother sent me his old PC for chanukah, its a major upgrade to what i have now. i get the package from my apt office b/c i wasnt home at the time, and it was opened!!! i pull the pc out of the box and its smashed up, the entire face plate is broken. so i open it up and i have RAM chips popping out of the slots, i have hard drive cables disconnected from the hard drives, the worst part.... i have the heat sink/fan for the CPU bent and inop. i spent the next 2hrs fixing all this shit and trying to get it working again, no idea how stable it is right now but im pissed. also my mom put a letter in the box with it for me as her chanukah gift to me and it wasnt in there. freaking out with no idea where this thing is. about 3hrs after i pick up the package i get a call from the office saying they found it on the floor, thankfully it was in the apt complex and not fallen out in the truck or stolen or something, im quite pissed off!IHYD

popsjumper 2 #5 December 15, 2009 In my experience, UPS has been very good about insurance claims. Instead of trying to fix it you should have left it alone and called UPS....with one exception. We sent a package Guaranteed Delivery and it arrived late. The customer refused the late delivery and it was returned to us. Well, UPS refunded the original shipment costs, no problem, but then charged us for the return shipment. It took some talking to a CSR to get it done but they eventually agreed to refund the return costs on a "courtesy" basis. Their policy is that the original shipper pays the return costs in those cases. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. ifell 0 #6 December 15, 2009 Couple weeks ago I purchased a camera helmet and I did Not get it on the day they said I would on the tracking site, by the end of the day it said I did not have the funds to take possession of the package and a 2nd attempt would be needed... blah, blah, blah but they never even showed up in the first place! When I called they said CS would call me within an hour and did not (wtf?) How the hell are you going to blame me for not showing up? I got it a day later and will do my best never to do business with them again
