1969912 0 #1 December 20, 2009 My Bengal, Nitro, is getting close to 15 years old, so she's not nearly as active anymore. She does love watching this video clip, which is pretty much typical of her behavior as a youth. She will jump up onto the desk to watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MydBRA5b580 "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG
DavidB 0 #2 December 20, 2009 Ever see any of these? http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=video+catnip&search_type=&aq=f I just had a 2-month-old kitten roaring around here like the floor was afire. He took great delight in jumping on my short stack of Parachutist magazines, skidding/scattering them around... Repeatedly. When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. PhreeZone 20 #3 December 20, 2009 We've got a 7 month old bengal and had her fronts declawed so she can't do that. Shes too smart for her own good most the time. No ornaments on the Christmas tree for the first time ever since shes decided all ornaments need to be removed and broken. The tree is also her new bed so we find her asleep in it all the time. I find it funny when she knocks on the shower door wanting in since the dog won't even do that. 1969912 0 #5 December 20, 2009 Shortly after geting my bengal (already had one young cat) I bought a house and got all new furniture and stuff. I'd come home from work and find all of the lamps knocked over on the floor, all chairs tipped over, books pulled from the bookshelves, all kitchen cabinets opened, glass covers that I'd had made for my cherry wood tables slid onto the floor, etc. Should have put in a video camera to document the carnage. My Ekorness leather chair is covered with little claw marks. Would I do it again? YES "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG

PhreeZone 20 #10 December 20, 2009 Yeah, ours likes to push things off tables just to watch them fall. I'll catch her trying to push glasses and books off the end tables. I'll pick the things up and they are on the floor 3 minutes later so I've given up on picking things up anymore.
