AggieDave 6 #1 December 22, 2009 One of the things that I look forward to around Christmas are all the favorite movies. I could buy them, but they're more fun when they come on TV (don't ask me why, they just are, maybe its a childhood throw back). I've caught up on pretty much every favorite Christmas movie so far this year, except for Scrooged with Bill Murray. It doesn't appear to be on at all this season. I can't find any information about it, but is there some sort of copyright issue? Or is the movie so unpopular that Home Alone 17 will air 10 times, but Scrooged won't? Now if the original 1987 airing of A Muppet Family Christmas would re-air, that would be great. As it is, you an watch it on YouTube, but that's just not the same.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." ryoder 1,590 #2 December 22, 2009 I just watched "Scrooged" for the first time last week, (NetFlix DVD). Remember the scene where the Ghost of Xmas Present grabs Murray by the lip? I couldn't believe how far she pulled his lip out. Apparently, Bill couldn't believe it either. Check out the IMDB trivia; She tore his lip, causing filming to come to a stop for several days while it healed. It's because when it comes on TV, you HAVE to stop what you're doing to watch it. Not the same with a DVD. You can stop it to do something else. I'm with you ... I have the Grinch and It's a Wonderful Life on DVD but it's so MUCH better when it's a SURPRISE when you're surfing! And I'll have to see if Scrooged is going to be on TV here ... come to think of it, it hasn't appeared on my surfing ... hmmm .... Hope you find it! Merry Ho Ho to you!
