nathaniel 0 #1 June 8, 2005 In regards to these comments in the incidents forum complaining about painful hanging harnesses: hasn't anybody ever thought to mount a hanging harness on springs, bungee cords, inertial counterbalance (like on elevators), etc? It seems like this shouldn't be rocket science. nathanielMy advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir. The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Lebowski? mjosparky 4 #2 June 9, 2005 It's not rocket science. A good, non-painful harness can be made very simple without the use of springs, bungee cords or inertial counterbalance devices. They can be made to use the jumper’s own harness without unpacking the main and without pulling their reserve. No need to over complicate a simple device.
