Nataly 38 #1 December 25, 2009 So around the xmas holidays, I can't help but look back on the past year & reminisce about all the good and the bad things that have happened.. First of all, it seems like only yesterday I was in Canada celebrating Christmas 2008!! But I digress.. High/lowlights for the year for me include: BEST -Embracing living in London after 4+ years & exploring this city for the first time. -Spending less time at work & more time with friends. -The new job (with nicer people). -Getting back into shape (physically and mentally). -Passing my motorcycle theory & driving tests. -BUYING MY MOTORCYCLE!!! WORST -The new job. -Still not having split finances with the ex after a year and a half. -Problems with the house-mate from hell (earlier in the year). -Failing the same exam for the 3rd and 4th time. -Losing my boobies (although they should come back). All in all, I'd say things are looking up What about everyone else??"There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

jonstark 8 #3 December 25, 2009 BEST: Visiting friends and jumping at Deland and Z-Hills for the first time in 15 years. Getting my Float plane rating. Scalloping with the kids. Finishing our lake house and hosting guests there. Hunting and fishing. Working and playing. Loving and laughing. WORST: Too many friends laid to rest. RIP all

airtwardo 7 #5 December 25, 2009 It took an unbelievable amount of time, money & effort on my part this past year to get all three kids not only on the 'right track' in life...but in a position that they're rolling forward at a pretty good clip. BEST: The kids are older and now out of the house, getting started on the adventure of life. VectorBoy 0 #7 December 26, 2009 Worst: Loosing too many friends, like four in a month too many. Changing jobs- a lateral in the same company- just for commuter security, kept me from being with my team at nationals. Not enough time to get on the motorbike. Best: 2010 is so close I can smell it, 09 blows.

millertimeunc 0 #9 December 26, 2009 Best: Earning my wings after working my ass off for them for over a year, lots of incredible memories with some amazing pilots, both instructors and fellow students. Getting a fantastic assignment out of pilot training. Sharings lots of beers, a couple of skydives, and a few cigars with my brother and his friends when we both got some time to hang out before he deployed. Too many other great hilights to mention here! Worst: Thinking I knew it all, and getting humbled quite a few times. The best things in life are dangerous. The_Don 0 #10 December 26, 2009 Best. Still having my mom after major heart surgery/quad bypass. Worst. Saying goodbye to the best dog I've had in 47 years on the planet.I am NOT being loud. I'm being enthusiastic!

Best: 2010 is so close I can smell it, 09 blows. I felt that way about 2008.. Everything about it sucked - I felt like my world completely fell apart.. But I put it all behind me and 2009 was SOOO much better, and 2010 looks even more full of potential.. 2010 will *definitely* be your year "There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

nerdgirl 0 #13 December 28, 2009 Best – lots from which to choose. Worst – Spending 3 long weekends this fall out in SoCal helping take care of one of my best friends who was banged up pretty badly when a drunk driver hit her & her husband’s car. We may not genetically be sisters, but she is family to me - I love her and would do almost anything for her. Her husband was killed. Allegedly, this was the drunk’s 3rd or 4th DWI. Please don’t drink & drive – taking away someone else’s life and love is not your right. /Marg Act as if everything you do matters, while laughing at yourself for thinking anything you do matters.
