Feeblemind 1 #1 December 30, 2009 Well the day has finally arrived!!! After a non-related injury I have finally been released by my surgeon to return to skydiving For those of you forced from the sport for any length of tenure you understand my depression, for those of you never prevented from jumping...you will have difficulty understanding. I visited the DZ several times during my recovery, needless to say it was like masturbation without the payoff....I don't recommend it. Anyway, I am looking forward to getting current on Saturday with one of my best friends that is and S,T & A, AFF-I/E, and master rigger. He is a great friend and truly inspires me to be a good skydiver!! I also get to re-join my family in the sky!!! I have many friends that are coming out to phreeze their asses off and jump with me (I will be forever in your debt) this weekend. Peace, Love and Anarchy!!!! You arrange the clear skies, we'll be there phreezing with you (well, unless my sinuses keep kicking my ass)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. JohnMitchell 16 #4 December 30, 2009 I'm very glad for you, and hoping I'm posting the same thing in about 6-7 months. I've been on the ground 10 weeks now, and I'm not happy about it. Those trips to the DZ? I plan on doing a lot of the ground training this spring and summer at our DZ. I'll make sure I don't turn into one of those "used to be" guys. I just might have to turn my back on it all some day and walk away. Oh well, it's been a life.
