I'm drinking a Red Hook Treblehook Barleywine. 10.1% Gotta be up at 0430 to help feed cattle in the snow, so I'm having beer early.

Anyone drinking any interesting brews?

la Divine, and also a bottle of Amadeus Blanche. Both pretty underwhelming, but I guess that's because the French don't do beer!

The barlewine was soooo smooth tasting. Really, almost like wine. Pretty much fucks you, up too

Yup! It will get you where you want to go, but it's not meant to be consumed like that. Like you said, it's like wine. Savor it, and it's great stuff! I'm about to crack open a can of Perry. Ever heard of it?
