lippy 918 #1 January 5, 2010 I just finished watching it and really liked it. It was a good story and really well casted. The only downside is that I'm 72 hours into my latest attempt to quit smoking and EVERYBODY IN THAT MOVIE IS CONSTANTLY SMOKING!!!I got nuthin

Brilliantly cast. Beautifully filmed. However the primary player doesn't seem to have even one scene without a cigarette dangling from his lips. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

The original version of the film was called "The Boat that Rocked" and was shown in the UK and I think AUS and NZ. They cut ~1/2 hour out of it for the US market because some reviewers thought it was too long and disjointed. I've not seen the edited US version, but I really liked the original. Everyone I know who has seen both versions liked the original better. Excellent soundtrack. Casting was amazing. I'm glad it's getting seen here (US). lippy 918 #4 January 5, 2010 Thanks for the tip, I'll keep my eyes open for the Original version. It was already 2 hours and I can see how another 30 minutes might seem 'a little much' but if it flows as well as the short version does it would be well worth it.I got nuthin
