Oh Shit....... I Have X's

Recommended Posts

It was pointed out to me when I first started Skydiving you can tell "old" skydivers easy from the back, they have X's on their neck.(the wrinkles form 2 X's)..it was true, all the old guys had X's on their necks.....I just went to scratch my neck a minute ago and .....  (BTW, this was more noticeable when we loaded the planes facing the rear , with a jumper between your legs..."what seat belts? We had no stinkin seatbelts, we didn;t need no stinkin seatbelts" No wonder we were such good friends)X's..............................  When did that happen?

BTW, I make light of the seat belt rules only because back then., there was a seatbelt on the floor, Nothing to hook it to, but it was there, I have over a 1000 jumps out of Poppa Victor that crashed at Perris , killing 12 of my friends, and 4 new friends I never met , After that crash, we took belts serious, People were killed very much due to being crushed under the weight of people on top of them! (It stopped nose down, If you never saw the crash pictures)

So, I am NOT talking against the idea of belts! WOW, for me that is a long ramble!
