What's your type?

Recommended Posts

In a conversation the other night, a friend told me that his ex is dating a "guy who looks just like me: tall, blonde, blue eyes." It got me to thinking about the serious relationships that I have had, and what they looked like, and they all were very different from one another. While at one time, I thought I had an ideal "type" I've realized that I don't think I ever had.

My relationships:
1st: 5'9" black hair, blue eyes, white, computer guy, smoked, liked to ski, party guy, large family
2nd: 5'11 black hair, brown eyes, Pakistani, physician, golfed, gregarious, spoke 4 languages, narcissistic, large family
3rd: (married and divorced him) 6'1" British, bald, blue eyes, house painter, activities limited only to skydiving, big upper arms, skinny legs, narcissistic and not so friendly, large family
4th: 5'9" dark brown hair, brown eyes, overweight, disbarred, spoke three languages, intellectual, jumps, small family
Present and final: 6'2" blonde, blue eyes, intellectual, bilingual, in good standing with the bar, and just all around good guy, large family

Over the years, I've dated other men from Germany, France, Pakistan, Nigeria and Mexico. They've come from poor to rich families, only child to large family, and a range of intellectual capacity and educational experience and professions.

So, I don't think I've ever had a "type." And you?

I used to think I had a "type" but since I met the new guy I now know that I apparently will deviate, without even meaning to, from my preference.

New guy is 6'3", 240 pounds or a bit less, freaking HUGE compared to me, and super smart engineer/scuba dude.
No pulling any tricks on him... ;)

I usually drool for the surfer type dudes and spanish guys. Nummy!! :D

It still all comes down to what's between his ears though... :)

Always be kinder than you feel.

I've never been with any ladies that had perfectly good ears, and the funny thing is, I act more like a hearing person than I do a deaf person.
