WatchYourStep 0 #1 February 2, 2010 Our faculty adviser's father passed away. In the obituary it says.... "The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church in Hutchinson or a charity of the donor’s choice." He was a long time member of the American Legion in his area. Would that be a good place to donate money since it was something close to his heart? If so do I tell her, we donated X dollars in memory of John or just tell her we made a donation in his honor? Thanks for your help. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out." FlyingJ 0 #2 February 2, 2010 I don't think you have to say how much. Going with something he cared about is great. I think a nice card that mentions a contribution was made in his memory is appropriate.Killing threads since 2004.
