Out of trim at 200 jumps?

Recommended Posts

I've got a sabre 2 170 loaded at 1.15 and I've been pretty happy with it until I started jumping my friend's Sabre 2 170, and realized it flies completely different. The front and rear riser and toggle pressure is higher on my canopy, and mine doesn't plane out on flare nearly as well as my friend's. My friend's canopy consistently opens on-heading while mine spins me around on opening. I'm guessing this is a line trim problem, but my canopy supposidly only has 200 jumps, while my friend's has 100. I didn't think they got out of trim that quickly. Should I just take a measuring tape and try to measure the length of the lines to see if they are different?

I would call the manufacturer and discuss your finding. You may end up sending it in for testing.

Performance Designs has amazing customer service. They also rely on feedback from their customers to further perfect their products.
