regulator 0 #29 February 18, 2010 I really dont know what youre complaining about. I grew up in south texas where its summer for 9 months of the year and my parents live in BFE and they have 5 acres. Unless you have a massive yard mowing really isnt that bad. But I hated it when I was a kid because it would take so long to mow the yard that the part you finished at the beginning of the week was already grown back because I had to use a push mower for all 5 acres. The year my dad bought a riding lawn mower was the year my mom dislocated her shoulder and a few weeks later I was in boy scout camp and I broke my left arm. When I got home from camp early there was a new riding lawn mower sitting out front...guess my dad figured out he'd have to mow that big ass yard himself with a push mower and he said screw that! So yeah I'm real glad I broke my arm cause until I moved out years later I'd probably still have to be mowing that damn yard with a push mower. You go mow 5 acres with a push mower and salt grass clumps everywhere and then you can bitch about mowing.

Uh in south Texas you expect that shit.... living next to the Canadian border.. you kinda expect to get a respite from grass cutting for a few months out of the year.
