The Blind Side - Hey, even you guys, take a hanky.:S Plus Sandra Bullock looking great as a rich-bit+# former cheerleader wife. B|

Up- Recommend this movie to anyone. Pixar knows how to tell a story, don't they?

Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 - A little uneven in parts, but I enjoy just about anything Denzel Washington does on screen. :)

Hi shrop,
AN EDUCATION

It's an English :S film.

Why the :S Jerry

Many film made in Britain are superior to the McDonalds 24fps tripe that get spewed out at nauseum

Both the Brit and Australian film industries budgets are miniscule by comparison to the USofA so most of what gets released is top quality.

Had you ever seen the original?
No I haven't. Do you recommend it?

Yes, for a couple of reasons. It's actually a better movie storywise. The third act is better motivated. It's also a hell of a snapshot of mid-70s culture. If you ever want to know how far we've progressed as a society in the last 30 years, take a look at this film and look at the ways blacks and women are portrayed.

Hi Squeak,

Just a little ( hopefully ) fun with a bloke. :o

As a teenager I would occasionaly catch a Brit film;

J ARTHUR RANK '''''BBBOOOONNNGGGG'''''

Then I spent a yr in England and saw a lot of them.

Good films come from all over the world; I just won't watch one with subtitles in a theater. >:(

Although the most fun I have ever had with subtitles was watching a US comedy in Brazil that was in English with Portaguese subtitles; I would start laughing before the locals knew what the heck was going on. :P
