fireflytx 0 #1 May 23, 2005 Anyone know of where I can purchase supplex for freefly pants in a variety of colors? I have found some webpages with supplex but not much choice in color."Well behaved women rarely make history"
AndyMan 7 #2 May 23, 2005 I believe Para-gear stocks it, but otherwise going straight to the source is always a good option. Look up Invista, give them a call and ask for the name of a local supplier. http://www.invista.com/prd_supplex.shtml Invista bought DuPonts textile business, and manufacturers Supplex, Cordura, SolarMax, and Lycra - among others. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. skycat 0 #3 May 23, 2005 Seattle Fabrics also carries it, but I'm not sure if their color selection is what you are looking for. http://www.seattlefabrics.com/outerwear.html It's towards the bottom of the page.Fly it like you stole it!

Thanks, I have their site but their colors are extremely limited. They don't even have black or white. UUGGG I just check paragear as well and they don't have supplex."Well behaved women rarely make history"
skycat 0 #5 May 23, 2005 You may want to try calling them, I'm not sure how up to date/accurate their webpage is cause you would think they would have black and white.Fly it like you stole it!
PhreeZone 20 #6 May 23, 2005 Depending on the amount you need, you might try contacting a few jumpsuit makers and buy a few yards off them to get you started.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

We did learn that gaffers tape doesn't do well as a jumpsuit "patch" Especially when applied to the butt. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you. Teaches you right for not using the right material for repairs. Duct tape would have held (and left alot of glue afterwards! )Remster
dixieskydiver 0 #9 May 30, 2005 Supplex is also the same thing as Taslan if you are doing an internet search. I just bought some to try and sew up a pair of freefly pants but we´ll see if it´s the right stuff. The place I got mine from had an extremely limited color selection but they did have black. If you still want it PM me and I can check my records. Dixie HISPA #56 Facil Rodriguez "Scientific research has shown that 60% of the time, it works every time."
