jtval 0 #3 March 11, 2010 Sure can, I pm'd ya. Anyone else? SDLI? My questions include some of the local rules about a visiting jumper requesting to film two tandems he brings to their dz. I plan on bringing about 5 tandems but I want to film two of them. Quick snapshot of my credentials. AFFI/Videot with about 400 tandem videos at skydive mesquite and at the Air Force Academy. visit my youtube account if you wanna see some of my footage. youtube/jtval27.com type in skydive mesquite. most of the tandems that pop up prior to march 2008 are my footage. My photos My Videos
ridestrong 1 #4 March 12, 2010 I have jumped at SDLI a few times and love it. The staff there is great, it's a friendly DZ. The view is the best in NY, as you can see the entire end of LI surrounded by water. Not a lot of experienced jumpers there tho. I'd recommend it. One down side is that it is kind of a bitch to get out there, not a problem if you have a car.*I am not afraid of dying... Cool... keep in mind that they usually give you free jumps for every tandem you bring with you at SDLI, not sure about the others. I actually enjoy the train ride or road trip out there.*I am not afraid of dying... jtval 0 #7 March 12, 2010 Nice. Now if they'll let me film two of the tandems I think LI may b the easiest way for me to go. BTW- I am about to go jump for 2 weeks over cape canaveral. I CANNOT wait to see that view again. My photos My Videos
ridestrong 1 #8 March 12, 2010 Lucky bastard... Must say we are pretty lucky to have this view from the dz.*I am not afraid of dying... I am afraid of missing life.* ----Disclaimer: I don't know shit about skydiving.----
