Nataly 38 #1 March 23, 2010 Has this ever happened to anyone else? I tried sending an email last week, and it said my hotmail account was blocked.. A little pop-up came up and said if I felt I hadn't violated the terms and conditions I should contact the support team.. So I clicked on the link, but the page wouldn't open.. I went to the MSN webpage and sent a message using their "help" section.. It's been a few days now & no answer.. I can receive messages just fine.. Any ideas on what else I could do to get my hotmail up and running again?"There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

MikeJD 0 #3 March 23, 2010 You know, if it weren't for those death threats you keep sending out your account wouldn't have been blocked in the first place. Seriously, I haven't come across this but unless you're aware of anything you've done 'wrong' it could be that someone else has used your Hotmail address - maybe even a spambot, which would likely cause your account to be blocked. Do you have a good, secure password? Are you able to look at your 'Sent' folder and check there's nothing in there that you don't recognise?

I need to use snail mail for that kind of stuff! I thought the same thing, but there seems to be nothing unusual going on. My password is *really* random, with a mix of caps, non-caps, letters, numbers, and symbols.. I think it's pretty secure, but I guess it's always possible that a virus records your keystrokes or something.. I don't know what prompted it in the first place, but I'm keen to get it sorted.. If anyone knows how I'd be very grateful if you could share.."There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss
regulator 0 #5 March 23, 2010 Well for one Hotmail sucks ass. There (at least used to be) a 1MB file attachment limitation. Plus you can't use pop 3 forwarding to use outlook, unless you pay them a fee. Just get Gmail and get all those features for free. I've been using gmail for 5 years now and I have never had any complaints.
