What best describes your employment situation?

Not really a fitting option for me. I'm out of work and I'm looking. I'm not looking too hard and I plan on taking the summer completely off work starting in june. I would like to find something before then but if it doesn't happen im not to worried about it.

I am presently in the employ of the U.S. Government and nervously counting the months to retirement. I gotta figure out quick what I want to do when I grow up [:/]

Need another option for student!

That'd be the lazy ass category.

I can say that cuz I'm a student.

Depends on what your major is. Being an aeronautical/mechanical engineering double major, I spend over 40 hours a week on schoolwork.
This shit, right here, is OK

I was a slacker in X-Ray school, single major, no degree, 2 years/40 hrs a week/3 weeks off a year. On the job training w/ 2hrs of classwork a day built in. I worked 3-4 evenings a week delivering pizza... definetly not in the winter, I was a ski instrucor on weekends so I ditched the pizza job hahaha. Like I said I was a slacker, no double major... but I put my time in.

I'm an overworked/underpaid PhD student. I put in on average 50-60 hours a week. At least I get paid to be a student.:)

I did almost put in a category for residents and phders, but I figure that is kinda full timey... after all you get paid and your "in school" or in a "structured learing environment" hahaha the trenches

Just curious to see what the general position is here at DZ.com... I can tell by the volume of some peoples posting either they are retired and bored or... well ... like me bored at work! :D

What about laid off--tomorrow is my last day at work?

What about "Full time and enjoys their job?"

I have a good job, it has its moments of pain and hurt, but it also has its moments of joy and satisfaction. Too bad it doesn't pay better.:D
