wayneflorida 0 #3 April 7, 2010 I made the trip to see the launch. I've been trying to get down there since I heard about ending the program, and everything finally came together. Very nice to see live. I was on the merritt island causeway which is about 12 miles away. Did you see the space station pass overhead about 15 minutes before launch? Same direction as the shuttle course. Very cool.NASA= not about space anymore.I'm sure all the exemployees will be put to work as community organizers. jtval 0 #4 April 7, 2010 Im sure it would make people shit in the boots if I told them that I was at the Cape when they delivered the rocket boosters...on the Antonov 124. I got some photos of it and even got to go inside. That's a big bitch. They were originally going to launch while we were there. I wish they would have, but they moved the date from 18(?) Mar to April. I was kind of bummed about that. My photos My Videos
