ChrisL 2 #1 May 11, 2005 Got a FreeZR last year and I love the helmet. It looks good, fits good, its comfortable, the peripheral vision is phenominal for a full face helmet. I have one problem with it and I'm hoping someone can suggest a solution. Its almost flown off my head 4 times in the past couple months. The chin strap is way out at the tip of the chin and doesnt pass under my jaw at all. In short, the chin strap is useless and serves no purpose. This is not just the case for me and I dont have a small jaw. The helmet is supposed to stay on mostly via a friction fit. Frankly I'm not quite sure why the strap is there at all because its placement renders it completely useless. Now, even when it doesnt seem to be coming off I WORRY about it coming off which makes it hard to pay attention to a dive. I'd like to find someone that can move that strap to a position where it might do me some good because unless I can get this issue resolved I'll have to look for another helmet. Just an added bit of info, the friction fit is quite snug, making it more snug would render the helmet very uncomfortable.__ My mighty steed
